Hello and welcome – I am so glad that you are taking a moment to get to know a little about who I am. While there is a lot to see and learn about me on this website, there is still a lot more that I would like to share with you when I meet you. You will find that I am a Nationally Board Certified Teacher. I have a Masters degree in Elementary Education from the University of Michigan, and I have been teaching in the classroom for 7 years, with 2 years in Kindergarten, 3 years in 1st grade and 2 years in 4th grade. In addition to my teaching career, I worked in creative services in the corporate world, as a video assistant and graphic designer.

The intangibles that set me apart from others are great but most of all, I take on challenges and I have place a very high standard on learning, with my classroom motto being, “There are No Shortcuts and No Excuses”. I am looking forward to the numerous opportunities and experiences that I will continue to see in the future as an educator.
